I stumbled across Green Krim Cherry when browsing the Heritage Seed Market site. According to Bunny Hop this is a green when ripe with clear skin and is a sport of Black Cherry. Then I learned about Cherokee Lime, a green with clear epidermis, from Cherokee Purple linage... guess what hopped into my cart for the white micro project...

Remember yellow flesh + green flesh+ clear skin/epidermis = "white" but there seems to be some discussion as to if it is any "yellow flesh" allele or only specific alleles. So using a green with clear skin may or may not work for whites depending on if there is or isn't specific alleles needed for the really pale flesh. We will see what happens with my yellow x green with clear skin but both greens should bring in some nice flavor genes. I do know these crosses could produce yellow, green and possibly white micros.

Just in case I do need a different allele of yellow then my micro dwarfs have I am also including 2 white potato leafed dwarfs in the project. Dwarf Mr. Snow oblate, 6 to 10 ounce or larger good tasting tomatoes and Dwarf C C McGee oblate 4 to 8 ounce not as well known as Mr. Snow but also supposed to be good flavored. Those crosses would be yellow x white and could make yellow, green and white micros.

Since my whites are both potato leaf varieties I could also use them in the search for micros know to be both potato leafed and carrot leafed. Now this is where the real color fun could be. The carrot leafs I was sent have red tomatoes. Crossed to the whites we could end up with red, pink, yellow, white, green, purple, or brown tomatoes... and of course all kinds of leaf types...
