    Trout Cods

Will shortly place some pictures and more information here on these which are from the Beauty line of the dwarf project. some of the plants, which have been in the ground for about 4 months are around 20 inches high and have fruit around 3 inches on them, which cannot be far off ripening as some of the taller members of the group (7 plants growing) have started ripening fruit. Flowers formed on terminal trusses then the plants put out a branch, flowered again and repeated the procedure. Definitely look like a dwarf in growth characteristics

Ok, if I get this right we shall have some photos of Plant 1 of the Trout Cods, nothing ripe on this one yet, one of the taller ones has ripened its first fruit though so should not be too far off. Probably 7 or 8 fruit on this plant
looks good. One other plant is around the same height, most of the others are taller

The first of the tomatos on PL 1 is starting to blush, won't be long now

Here is a fruit off Trout Cod PL 1, one of half a dozen on the plant, most around this size (roughly 3 inches across) on a plant 500 mm tall. Flavour is down on what I had hoped for considerablely, but may grow a few next year to see what happens. Pale yellow-orange stripes over a GWR with faint pink colouring internally. Have kept seed and more than happy to donate if people what to use it as breeding stock for larger fruit on smaller growing plants

Apologies for the delay Kelmund, but taste was rather weak, not worth the effort of growing again unfortunately.
